About

The art of Practicing Engineering Skills, making problem-based prototypes, and demonstration. "TechnoTricks" is an exciting and hands-on activity that lies at the heart of our IEEE Day celebration. This event challenges participants to apply their engineering skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities to tackle real-world problems and come up with innovative solutions. The top 3 selected problem-based prototypes will get a chance to pre-incubate and develop full product.

Problem Statements

Wearable Electronics for Health and Safety

To create innovative wearable electronics for health and safety applications. This challenge may include developing devices for monitoring vital signs, enhancing personal safety, or improving overall well-being.

Intrusion Detection

The system should be equipped with sensors and computer vision technology to detect and recognize human or vehicle intruders within the surveillance area and Disaster Area. This may involve object recognition, motion detection, or other relevant techniques.

Green Transportation Solutions

Task participants with designing sustainable transportation solutions that reduce emissions and promote the use of electric vehicles (EVs) or alternative fuels. This could involve creating EV charging infrastructure, optimizing EV routing algorithms, or developing innovative public transportation systems.

Robotics for Defense and Disaster Management

Tasking participants with creating robots that can assist in finding underground mines, autonomous robots capable of conducting surveillance and reconnaissance missions in challenging and hostile environments, and disaster response scenarios. These robots should be capable of navigating challenging environments, locating survivors, and providing support, such as delivering supplies or performing remote medical assessments.

Waste Sorting and Management Automation

Create robotics or AI-powered solutions for automating the sorting of recyclables from mixed waste, making recycling processes more efficient and cost-effective. Design sensors and monitoring systems that can be integrated into waste bins to track their fill levels. This information should be accessible to waste management teams to schedule collections only when bins are nearing capacity, reducing unnecessary trips.
